Security An event like BSBF requires a multi-level security strategy, both in terms of complying with regulations for safe use of spaces by all involved, and in terms of protocols for hosting national and international authorities. The Generali Convention Center shared its general emergency plan with the PCO. The PCO requested safety manuals from all main suppliers, along with two forms drafted by the security manager. Exhibitors received appropriate safety information and were asked to secure their own insurance coverage. During the planning stages for space usage and subsequent setup, it was verified that nothing obstructed emergency exits, access to fire extinguishers, or electrical panels. Throughout the event—from the earliest setup stages—a dedicated security teamwas present, along with electricians and IT technicians. Several informative and strategic meetings were held at the Prefecture and the Police Headquarters to define how to safeguard both attendees and event spaces. For the opening ceremony and initial sessions, which hosted national and local authorities, law enforcement provided support to event security staff, monitoring entrances, and city police handled traffic flow near the venue.
